He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clara and Al Reinhardt and Fannie and Thornton Combs.

John,
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, only love leaves a memory no one can steal. As you comprehend the loss of your son, let yourself cry knowing each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens. Death never pierces the heart so much as when it takes someone we love. We are haunted by the memory of those we love, those with whom we feel we have unfinished business. While they may no longer be with us, a faint aroma of their presence remains, a presence that haunts us until we make our peace with them and let them go. The poem “Gone Away” by Diana Blokzyl best expresses Your son’s memory wishes…
An Angel whispered take my hand and
Come with me you’re work here is done.
I went away to a place where there are no tears, nor sorrow
Only laughter and smiles, there will always be a Tomorrow.
As I move among the clouds I’ll look down and smile upon you,
While angels sing a heavenly song.
I am not alone all who went before
Are here they awaited my return.
I know you’ll grieve and wish I was still here
I am here in the memories you hold dear.
Remember how much I Love you
And know I took your Love with me.
I did not wish for you to cry, nor feel sad.
My pain is gone and I am Free!
Soon you’ll come to me until then
God will be with you just as He’s with me.
After a 4.5 year battle, he’s finally at rest. I’m sure he will miss his family, but only now can he switch places and watch over them. May God welcome him home!
Reg

I am so sorry to read about your loss. I never John, but I wanted to express my condolences for an especially sad loss. It is always difficult to lose a loved one, but it is especially tragic to lose them unexpectedly and at such a young age. Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. (John 5:28,29) Although your time with John was far too short, you can have the hope of being reunited with him forever under perfect circumstances. In the meantime, even though the pain may at times seem insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure. (Psalm 94:17-19). Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences.
